Joining Day

Exactly 5 years Before,

We met in this heaven. We live together. We grew together. We laugh together.

I can not forget that day when we all joined NAVODAYA. We spent 5 years in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Solapur and these 5 years were one of the wonderful periods of my life though I did not expect it at the time of admission in JNV. Let's have an introduction of JNV prior to further explanation.

#My First Day At JNV Solapur

My parents came to leave me with my luggage which included only box contained everything I brought along with me. Oh my god! I was so nervous and was crying continuously. I wanted to go back home but didn't say a single word to my parents being aware of fact that I have to stay here only. They were also emotional and worried. After clearing all formalities, they left me in Shivalika House with my luggage. Full day I kept quite. I wasn't sure what to do, whom to talk and what to talk. I felt that day was longer than any other day before and sad too.

#My Journey At JNV

I am an introvert person, do not open easily in front of others. Initially I found it tough to adjust but with passing time I learned to manage in hostel. Also learned to deal with different kind of persons coming from different places. I mixed with others, made good friends and I was fully enjoying my life at JNV although always kept remembering my family. 👪

Daily routine of JNV was quite interesting and kept us busy full day. It included waking up early in the morning for PT, after PT freshen up time, breakfast, morning assembly, classes, Lunch, remedial, sports time in the evening, scheduled night study, dinner, trolling with my boys (specially in shivalika) and having fun which always makes me smile in even tough times. and at last it was bed time horror stories👻. Don't call yourself a NAVODAYAN if you don't know that your school is been made on a graveyard. And you should thanks to all your seniors for that valuable information. Eventually scheduled routine was punctual, But I was't! 😜

As with the time, I completely get into JNV. We all grew older and at last promoted to grade 8 in 2018. That academic year was awesome ever. Coz we all are having leaderships in some fields like house leader/vice house leader etc. Although we all united strongly that year. That year will be always memorable in my life.🤗

#What I learnt from JNV

1. I became responsible towards my actions.

2. Learned to manage in outside world which was not limited to my family and friends.

3. I started eating everything whichever I used to avoid before at home. Sometimes food taste was not good, it was just compromising but I never complained about it to anyone and ate with love.

4. It fostered me to develop my personality and I became more confident about myself.
